The Spyderco Techno 2 is a small but very robust pocket knife. As a result, Spyderco calls it a “small, big knife”. The knife is made in collaboration with Polish knife maker
Marcin Slysz. For this reason, the Marcin Slysz logo is displayed next to the well-known Spyderco logo on the other side of the blade.
The Techno 2 is an improved version of the well-known Spyderco Techno. For example, the Techno 2 has green anodized gaps between the handle instead of the blue
G10 backstop. The blade also has a different shape. After all, the Techno 1 has a pointed blade, and the Techno 2 has a sheepfoot blade. In addition,
Spyderco has made the blade a millimeter thinner at the request of many customers. Even the ridges on the back of the blade have been improved to provide more thumb
grip when using the knife. In short, the Techno 2 can definitely be called a true successor!
The Techno 2 is built like a tank. The blade has absolutely no play when locked in place by a solid titanium frame block. The handle is made of 3.5mm thick titanium.
The frame eliminates the need for additional steel inserts. This makes the knife easy to clean.
The Techno is a great pocket knife for anyone who doesn't want to carry a big knife all the time but still appreciates the power of a heavy knife in a pinch.
