Norton Sharpening Oil is ideal for use with natural and synthetic abrasives, as well as diamond and CBN stones. The highly refined formula of this mineral oil meets the standards of the US Pharmacopoeia, guaranteeing superior sharpening results. The use of Norton Abrasive Oil will help to avoid greasing the working surface of the stone, prevent unnecessary stress on the abrasive and extend its service life. Also, Norton Abrasive Oil improves control over the sharpening process, making work more comfortable and the result more tangible.
Easy to use - simply apply the oil to the surface of the stone. Please note that synthetic stones may require more oil, while natural and diamond stones, such as Arkansas stone, require less oil due to their porosity characteristics.
