Using the Nitecore NU40 is easy with the button on top of the head torch. Hold this button down to turn the light on and off. By pressing it briefly you can switch between light modes. The headlamp is equipped with a holder in which the light can be rotated 72°. As such, you can easily set up the desired angle.
Head torch with three light beams

The Nitecore NU40 is equipped with three different light beams: • Two white LEDs that provide a beam of 1000 lumens and a reach of 100 metres • A red LED light to make sure you maintain your night vision

Light modes of the primary white LED light: • Turbo: 1000 lumens • High: 600 lumens, burn time of approx. 6 hours • Mid: 300 lumens, burn time of approx. 10 hours • Low: 100 lumens, burn time of approx. 22 hours • Ultralow: 8 lumens, burn time of approx. 120 hours • Beacon mode: 1000 lumens • SOS: 1000 lumens

Light modes of the red beam: • Constant-on: 10 lumens, burn time of approx. 50 hours • Slow flashing: 10 lumens, burn time of approx. 68 hours
Charging the Nitecore NU40

You can charge the head torch via the USB-C port that is hidden underneath the screw cap. It takes about 2 hour and 25 minutes to fully charge the light. The light tells you when it's fully charged: the blue LED light on top of the torch stops flashing.

The Nitecore NU40 comes standard with a built-in 18650 Li-ion battery, a charging cable, a manual and spare o-rings.
