The improved version of the Marco Polo Multiplex slingshot is a new, more affordable version made of Multiplex material (durable multilayer plywood), with classic rubber band tying. Thanks to this version, the slingshot is double-sided (you don't have to choose the left or right version). You just attach the rubber bands from the side, depending on the shooter's grip (left-handed, right-handed, see instructions and blog here on the e-shop).
TTF MARCO POLO is a slingshot for maximum precision shooting at the highest sporting level. It was designed by Mr. Jan Nowak after his experience at the 2018 World Championships in Italy, so you can also successfully compete in precision shooting with it. Two handmade pieces of this slingshot were originally created, which were also successfully used at the AGS International Slingshot Tournament (Dezhou City, China), where he fought his way through to the finals (330 competitors).
The slingshot arms at the rubber band attachment point are close to the hand, which minimizes the influence of the rubber band pull lever on the accuracy of shooting. Thanks to this, the slingshot copies the natural shape of the hand.
The rubber band has a size of 23/17 (23 mm wide at the slingshot at the attachment point). A wider strip of rubber means higher power and bullet speed. The rubber band is not delivered installed and is universal for lengths up to 100 cm of draw.
The rubber band attachment point at the slingshot arm is 23 mm wide, and is therefore primarily intended for precision shooting. However, it is possible to choose stronger types of rubber bands with this size, and thus dimension the energy of the bullet. I also consider the advantage of this slingshot to be the fact that it is still equipped with a simple sight (a groove in the slingshot arm), despite this, extreme accuracy can be achieved with it. The slingshot has no additional (and fragile) sights, as can be found with other types. The slingshot is still extremely practical, almost indestructible and there is no need to worry about possible misalignment of the sights.
The delivery includes a slingshot, a 0.65 23/17 (TTF) slingshot rubber, including ties for attaching the rubber to the slingshot.
The Multiplex material, or multilayer plywood made of glued wood veneers, is a natural material. It is common for imperfections, knots, small chips or partial absence of parts of the inner layer to occur between the layers. This is a standard feature of this natural material. These defects do not affect the strength or functionality of the product.

Jan Nowak has been making slingshots since 2011, which was initially a "simple" hobby for him. Only later, when he was already making slingshots for himself and his friends, did he learn about the existence of sports shooting. The experience from the first competition and the 8th place out of 39 competitors, further awakened his passion for shooting. From the beginning, he shot with slingshots of his own production, which he improved based on experience so that they met the highest demands for accuracy and performance. From this experience and combined with the enthusiasm and joy of shooting, he decided to produce slingshots in series, for the general public. His personal motto "What I make, I use myself" was just a logical reaction to his work, supported by the results.
