The Gen III Microtech Combat Troodon is easily the best version yet, as Microtech managed to make significant upgrades AND reduce the price! Yeah, you heard that right: It's better and more affordable than its predecessor.

Let's get into the changes:

• the blade is now Bohler M390MK, Microtech's proprietary steel
• the pocket clip is milled titanium with a ceramic ball
• the chassis is styled differently, resulting in improved ergonomics
• it has standard Torx hardware for field stripping; and, most significantly
• the internals have been stripped and redone, resulting in some of the easiest, smoothest OTF action on the market.
• aside from the internal changes, milled grooves under the X-Button contribute to the easy operation, reducing friction and breaking apart lint and other debris.
