Based on the Comrade model, the young Manly brand has created a compelling concept that must be viewed as a rousing success for its introduction to the knife market.
The D2 blade steel has been hardened to 58-60 HRC (=1.2379), promising durability and edge-holding. The flat-ground blade has a nail groove and features an appealing black satin finish. Solid steel liners support 3D-milled handle scales made from black G10, whose radial texture is not only visually appealing but also provides a very secure, non-slip grip.
A stepped slip joint is used as the mechanism, which uses a strong spring to engage the blade in 4 steps as a way to increase user safety. Stainless steel clip (tip-up) for a comfortable carry.
