Blade Beast – this stone is a real beast! A "monster that devours blades." It is incredibly effective, powerful, and aggressive. It is designed for fast and rough work. This is a new line of CBN stones on a tin-based metal bond. It will quickly handle major damage on a knife's blade and will reprofile your edge in a matter of minutes.
The KDTU Silver CBN Stone – BLADE BEAST Series is built with an advanced silver hybrid bond that delivers aggressive cutting performance, stable sharpening behavior, and excellent wear resistance. The distinctive silver-colored abrasive layer is the hallmark of the series.
High-performance CBN abrasive provides rapid metal removal and exceptional sharpening efficiency. The BLADE BEAST Series is developed for users who demand maximum cutting speed and long service life.
Designed for extended service life under demanding sharpening conditions. Compatible with sharpening oil, emulsions, alcohol-based lubricants, and kerosene, with quick break-in and minimal preparation.
The KDTU Silver CBN Stone – BLADE BEAST Series is suitable for edge repair, reprofiling, and fast stock removal.
It performs particularly well on modern high-hardness steels above 69 HRC and is intended for professional sharpening workflows where cutting speed and durability are critical.
Main characteristics:
- Has high durability compared to all phenolic and copper-phenolic stones, but less durable than RazorCut stones
- Very high performance, higher than the RazorCut line.
- Very good self-renewing capability of the working layer.
- Open up and dress very quickly.
- Resistant to any types of lubricating fluids – oil, emulsion, alcohol, kerosene.
How to use:
- it is possible to grind dry with stones, but for grain sizes smaller than 50/40, we recommend using soapy foam, Norton or baby oil johnson baby
- we recommend micellar water for cleaning stones
- bars are restored in the process of salting with pumice, abrasive tools, silicon carbide powder on a flat surface
These stones are suitable for TsProf, Hapstone, Kazak.

Starting from 2020, company «KYOTO DIAMOND TOOLS UKRAINE» became an independent enterprise and began to manufacture products under its own brand KDTU. The main task of our team was the reorientation to the clients of the European market, Asia and Ukraine, who use high quality tool. The requirements of the European market are different from the Japanese market, so it was necessary to change the characteristics of the grinding wheels to meet new challenges. Having vast experience and knowledge gained from the leading specialists of the Poltava plant of synthetic diamonds and diamond tools, combined with the knowledge base and long practice gained in Japan, we managed to reach the European level in a short time and outperform the famous brands of the diamond industry in some types of tools.
