Hon-Warikomi, clad blades made of VG-10 stainless steel cutting core, sandwiched between SUS410 stainless steel which provides excellent edge retention, HRC 60 or more.

This 3000 series knives are one of our best and long selling ones as high-grade home use kitchen knives.

This is very polite work of half tang constructions with unwelded stainless bolster, fixed by 3 rivets, made by lovable craftman.

Proudly made in Seki city, Japan.

The Kengata knife is a specific type of Japanese knife that combines elements of the traditional Santoku knife with a shape that resembles a kiritsuke (a knife with a straight blade and a tip like a Japanese sword). The name "Kengata" literally means "sword shape," suggesting its versatility and precision. This blade shape is ideal for slicing, chopping and slicing, while the tip of the knife allows for precision work such as decorative carving or fine slicing.

Značka Kanetsune bola pomenovaná po slávnom meči Smith, Kanetsune žil v období Muromachi okolo 14-15 storočia. Vyrábal mimoriadne ostré a tvrdé katany, ktoré poznali mnohí samurajovia v Japonsku aj v zámorí. Niektoré z jeho mečov sú vystavené v múzeu Katana v meste Seki.
