A dive without a knife is unthinkable for most divers for good reason. In the event of an underwater emergency, such as getting stuck in an old fishing net, it is imperative that you cut through it quickly and efficiently. Many diving knives are therefore equipped with a blade that is primarily intended for cutting. Special corrosion resistance is a matter of course. Nevertheless, it is essential to take care of the knife, especially after using it in salt water. Diving knives are usually carried in a holster on the calf.
